Data Deletion Request

We respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. If you wish to delete your Climb Antalya account and all associated data, you can do so through the options below.

Deletion Options

Option 1: Delete Account In-App

The easiest way to delete your account is through the app itself:

  1. Open the Climb Antalya app
  2. Go to Profile (tap your profile icon)
  3. Scroll down to Settings
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2: Email Request

If you're unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, please contact us at:

Please include in your email:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your username (if you remember it)
  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 5 business days.

What Gets Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your account profile and login credentials
  • Personal information (email, name, etc.)
  • Your climbing logbook entries
  • Saved routes and favorites
  • Your app preferences and settings
  • Location data history
  • Any uploaded photos associated with your account

What Happens to Your Content?

Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and ratings you've posted will be anonymized (your username will be removed) but may remain visible to maintain the integrity of the community review system. If you want your reviews completely removed, please specify this in your deletion request.

Public Photos

Photos you've shared publicly may be retained if they have been incorporated into route galleries, but they will be disassociated from your account. If you want all your photos removed, please specify this in your deletion request.

Important Notes

⚠️ This Action is Permanent

Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover your data, logbook entries, or any other information associated with your account.

📋 Backup Your Data First

Before deleting your account, consider exporting your logbook and any important data you want to keep. Contact us if you need help exporting your data.

💳 Active Subscriptions

If you have an active Premium subscription, please cancel it through the Google Play Store before deleting your account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Visit your Google Play Store account settings to manage subscriptions.

Data Retention Period

After you request account deletion:

  • Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you can no longer log in
  • Within 30 days: All personal data is permanently deleted from our systems
  • Backup systems: Data is removed from backup systems within 90 days

Some information may be retained for legal compliance purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Changed Your Mind?

If you delete your account and later decide to return, you can create a new account at any time. However, your previous data cannot be restored.
